Ashton is a Fanshawe alumnus with his passion for food inherited from his grandmother. Ashton has worked at The Only on King, the Idlewild inn, Revive and North Moore Catering in London, also the now defunct Splendido and Yours Truly in Toronto gave Ashton the insight into the Italian, Korean,Chinese and Japanese culinary world, evident when he fuses unexpected ingredients into his cooking.
