Whether you are a new or experienced, our one-of-a-kind cooking classes will introduce you to a different way of cooking and the ‘In Home Chef approach’ to the fine dining experience.
Dough – the base of so many delicious comfort foods and desserts! Guests will start by making fresh bread paired with a cocoa nib, buckwheat and sea salt butter. Everyone will then get their hands dirty making their own flatbread dough with assorted fresh vegetables and protein toppings of their choosing. To finish off the evening, Chef Thomas will show everyone how to make an amazing spiced apple cake.

We will meet at Celtic Ridge for a tour by owner Matt, then return to The In Home Chef Estate where i will show you how to get consistent, proper sear on your steaks, how to cook the best braised beef cheek and all classic “steak house” accompaniments.

We will jump into pairing foie gras with local duck breast, asparagus and a wine reduction. To end the meal a delicate mille fuille with whipped vanilla mousse and salted caramel.

Inspired by Chef Thomas’s mid-January trip to explore and experience Taiwan, this class will capture the vibrant and traditional flavours of South East Asia. Starting with a traditional Taiwanese tea and snack, guests will then dive into learning how to create one of Taiwan’s most famous cuisines – dumplings! These delicious delights can be filled with anything from vegetables and meats, to soups! Join us to explore the Taiwanese world of dumplings!
Having recently travelled to Morocco, Chef Thomas has created an amazing 3 course cooking class that captures the aromatic flavours of the beautiful country. Guests will begin by preparing a traditional Moroccan salad with pickled beets, marinated carrots, stewed lentils, tomatoes, and cucumber salsa. For the main dish, Chef Thomas will guide guests through the preparation of a delicious chicken and vegetable tagine. To top off the evening, everyone will make their own rosewater flan.
We want to show what my friends at Steelhead have to offer. Steelhead fishery has anything you would like and I will start off showing you how to properly sear you-ten scallops, with local corn and sweet potato salsa. Our main course will be focusing on how to cure and smoke their signature trout, as well as make a proper shrimp escabeche.
